• Past/Current - MD Model for School Readiness (MMSR) observational tool (Is the child ready?); rigorous enough? Expectations are off by 1 year
• "Starting Strong" project; RTTT grant funded - for children 36-63 months; will contain: Formative assessments, student progress monitoring, online professional development, online data capture and reporting, selected assessment items electronically delivered to child. 
• Will exist on a technology platform (tablet ready) and also observation and performance tasks; no lag in submitting/reviewing data
• Customize and link district level resources
• K assessment - support and advance children's early learning and academic achievement 
• 2013-14: field testing, 2014-15: Kin. field testing

2:40 p.m.             Homework Assignments – "This Worked" and Position Responsibilities – These will be edited and submitted to NCSM for publication in their monthly newsletters. Position responsibilities - trying to make sense of these data across districts. We will likely develop and administer a survey that looks at your role over a 2-week period; stay tuned!
